Technical architecture and methodology
The central technical concept of the TeaTwin project is based on the tightly coupled integration of automated data processing and simulation-based optimization . This systematic approach is implemented in three main phases:
- Interface development:
Implementation of a native, bidirectional OData interface within the SAP S/4HANA environment . This enables the automated and secure extraction of complex master and transactional data , thus forming the fundamental data pipeline. - Automated model generation:
A specialized interpreter engine actively processes the extracted ERP data. First, the raw data is transformed into a standardized, XML-based description format (e.g., CMSD or AutomationML) and then seamlessly compiled into a fully executable, discrete event simulation model . - Data validation and data integrity:
To ensure the accuracy of the simulation, the system employs advanced analysis methods and automated plausibility checks . These mechanisms continuously monitor the data pipeline, identify anomalies, and use algorithmic data imputation to intelligently reconstruct incomplete or inconsistent datasets before model generation.
