Technical Architecture and Methodology
The core technical concept of the TeaTwin project is founded on the tightly coupled integration of automated data processing and simulation-based optimization. This systematic approach is executed through three primary phases:
-
Interface Development: The implementation of a native, bidirectional OData interface within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This ensures the automated, secure extraction of complex master and transactional data, establishing the foundational data pipeline.
-
Automated Model Generation: A specialized interpreter engine actively processes the extracted ERP data. It first transforms this raw data into a standardized, XML-based descriptive format (such as CMSD or AutomationML) before seamlessly compiling it into a fully executable, discrete-event simulation model.
-
Data Validation and Integrity: To ensure the accuracy of the simulation, the system deploys advanced analytical methods and automated plausibility checks. These mechanisms continuously monitor the data pipeline to identify anomalies and utilize algorithmic data imputation to intelligently reconstruct incomplete or inconsistent datasets prior to model generation.
